When it comes to grading the Used, Second-hand and Refurbished Devices we understand that this can be difficult. So we use a few combined methods to get it right as possible
a) Each grade needs to fit a specification grade list
b) Each device is assessed by at least 3 technicians and finally graded by our quality assurance team.
Grades
''Pristine' The device should be in Pristine condition. If there are signs of use (if any) these must represent minute scuffs that cannot be seen from 12 inches away
''Very Good' The device considered to be in Excellent condition by technicians with only slight signs of use. No deep scratches on screen with minor/minimal scuffs limited to the casing
''Good' The device that you would expect to show signs of average usage but no cracks or missing parts and in great working order.
''Acceptable' The device is in Fair Condition. Cosmetically the device will show heavy signs of use, including scratches and scuffs to the screen and casing. It won’t have cracks on the screen or casing..
Devices with conditions outside of the above will have explicit details in description.

Do they offer Next Day Delivery? if they do not
a) They may be abroad
b) Don't hold stock wait for your order and try to obtain. Your never guaranteed to get the item you wished for.
Most of our devices will will come Unlocked or Sim Free. This mean that you can use on any network like EE , Vodafone , 3 etc. These can also be used in any Country.
You may find some devices on Tech Market that state they are Vodafone , EE Locked etc. These devices will work only on those specified UK networks. However you can get these devices unlocked at a cost (check eBay or online) However we do not guarantee that this will always work.

Shipping Enquiries
You should have got an email from us with your estimated delivery date and a tracking number. You can use that number to track your delivery to your door.
If your order didn’t arrive when it should, email us at support@techmarket.co.uk or start a live chat with us on our website.
Easy. Just pop your tracking number into the Royal Mail or DPD website (depending on which we’ve used). We tend to use Royal Mail when you buy, and DPD when you sell.

We use Royal Mail or DPD because we trust them and we know they’re reliable. And we always track everything to keep your stuff safe.
When you send devices back to us to sell, we either use Royal Mail or DPD. If you choose a paid service (24 or door collection) it comes with insurance cover on anything you return to us. It’s worth paying the extra if you can, because we can’t cover anything that gets lost or damaged in transit. DPD also offers a green delivery service that’s less harmful to the planet. Warranty & Returns
All products have a 12 Month Warranty (99%) unless explicitly stated in the first part of the description. Refurbished products also come with a 12 month warranty with the batteries warranty at 6 Months.
We know at times you may need to return your purchase for a variety of reasons so we've made it as painless as possible. Just click this link and fill out the booking form. We will send you the full instructions by email
Our return policy lasts 30 days and starts from the date of receipt by you. The product will be eligible for return and refund when received by us in the same condition as issued and unused. All accessories issued with the product including any free add-on products must also be returned in the same condition.
To return an item, please email customer service at return@techmarket.co.uk to obtain further information on how to start your return.
Please remember to remove the following before returning your device:
- All security and parental locks
- Your SIM cards
- Memory card (if applicable)
- Your iCloud / Samsung / Google account
- Back up and remove any personal data from your device.
Failure to do so will lead to a delay in the processing of your return and/or prevent it from being processed.
There may be occasions where a partial refund may be provided if your returned product does not meet these terms, or your return may be rejected, and your device returned to you. These are evaluated on an order-by-order basis.
Removing data from your iPhone device:
1.Sign in to your account.
2.Click on “Find My iPhone”
3.Click on All Devices and then select the device you want to remove.
4.Click on “Remove from Account”
Removing data from your Samsung device:
1 Head into your Settings > Accounts and backup.
2 Select Manage Accounts.
3 Tap on the Google Account you would like to remove.
4 You will then need to select and reconfirm your action by tapping on Remove Account.
Payment Enquiries
Firstly most of our refurbished / Second-hand products prices are not liable for VAT under the marginal scheme. So no VAT is added or included in the price. What you see is what you pay for all customers (worldwide).
Other non refurb / non used products will have a clear breakdown of VAT at checkout and the product page price will include this.
For UK customers there is no additional taxes or duties to be paid. Product Price + Shipping thats it.
For Customers outside of UK if the product has VAT then this will be removed at checkout. However you may be liable for Taxes and Duties by your countries customs department.
We accept all major credit cards via Shopify Gateway & Paypal. We do not store your card details and these processed securely by Shopify. We also accept Paypal and you can even use your American Express card through them. If you prefer to do a direct bank deposit then send us an email and we can get this arranged. Customers can also use Clearpay, Klarna and Amazon if they wish to do so.
